Porta Pizza began in 2011 as a small, family-owned business in Perth, built on a passion for creating authentic, wood-fired pizza. What started with a single catering trailer quickly grew through word of mouth, and within two years we expanded with a second mobile setup to keep up with the growing demand for private functions, weddings, corporate events, and festivals across Perth.
In 2016, we took the next step by designing and building our first custom food truck, complete with our unique slide-out pizza oven. This innovation allows us to bring the full wood-fired pizza experience to almost any location while serving fresh, handcrafted pizzas straight from the oven.
What we love most about catering is the opportunity to connect with people.
Unlike a traditional restaurant, where the kitchen is often hidden away, our mobile setup lets guests watch us prepare and cook every pizza from scratch. We enjoy chatting with guests, sharing our passion for pizza, and seeing their reactions as they taste our food. The smiles, conversations, and positive feedback are what make every event so rewarding.
Over the years, we’ve had the privilege of catering hundreds of events, from intimate backyard weddings and birthday celebrations to large corporate functions and community festivals.
